My First Show!!!

Hello! Sorry I havent posted much lately, I have been busy with Partylite! I had my first show on Sunday and it went GREAT! I had such a good time and my hostess was great to work with! We had a good turn out and the hostess did a great job at outside orders. All in all she earned $377 in FREE product!! Can you believe that?? I cant! I am SOOO happy for her!
I have another show coming up this Saturday and I am hoping that it will be just as good! Stay tuned for more....

Its fun to stay at the YMCA

I just wanted to share how much I love the YMCA in Athens. It is such a great place. Every tuesday & thursday I go to a Cardio Jam class that Jenny Hill teaches. It is SO great!I look forward to it every week.Jenny is very inspirational to me. She always has a great attitude, even when life gets her down. This class really centers me and makes me realize what is iportant in life...fun! Ervery time I go...I am ususally in a bad mood from work....but I always leave feeling refreshed and happy, and of course sore from the work out.

My goal this year is to continue Jenny's class consistantly. My other goal is to find more things that make me feel the way this class does! I need more things that energize me and lift my spirits!

Finding a purpose

So I have been thinking a lot about finding my purpose in life or I guess you could say I am trying to find my calling. I am not sure exactly what that is yet...but I do know my purpose isn't to sit on my but from 8-5 everyday at my current job and just stare at a computer. I have been in this current job for less than a year and I am already bored with it. I need something new. The mundane-ness of my job is eating away at me. I can not spend another 10 months doing the same thing. So what kind of job am I looking for? I have NO IDEA! :) But I am going to try PartyLite and see where that goes. I like the idea of me being my own boss, making my own time schedule. I would LOVE to not work the 9-5 job. To be able to do other things during the day would be nice! I am hoping this new opportunity will give me more freedom with my time, and more financial freedom.

So here I am at the beginning of my journey to start a new business. I cant wait to see where I am at in a year!!!

A new world....

Well...I joined the world of blogging! :) Yeah for me!! Since my good friend Melissa started blogging about her life and photography business (melissapepin.blogspot.com) I have been addicted to blogs and decided to start my own!

This blog will be about my life in Georgia and my new business in PartyLite Candles. Hope this will be some what interesting to the blogging community! :)
