I have to say our first creations from our CSA produce was a little disappointing. Eric made a beet salad which had: beets, apple, honey, and apple cider vinegar. I tried cooking greens for the first time. We had 3 kinds of greens (see below posts) and had no idea what to do with them so I cooked them with olive oil, garlic, and crushed red pepper. After having a few bites we tried adding parmesean cheese to the greens....not sure if it helped. Both tasted OK but we are definitely not used to eating this way. Neither one of us grew up on greens or beets so maybe we will have to try it again and see what we think a 2nd time....maybe.

I have to admit, though, you get serious points for bravery! We made sorrel pesto from the recipe they sent out but haven't tried it yet. Other than that, we've loved the salad greens!
